  16. Born in Sweden, Fonssagrives posed for some of the most famous
  17. photographers of the age, including Irving Penn, whom she
  18. married in 1950. About modeling, she said: "It is always the
  19. dress; it is never, never the girl. I'm just a good clothes
  20. hanger."
